Angelo is founder and Managing Director of Microelectronic Solutions. He joined Ted Tiltins in 2003 as a director of Microelectronic Computer Systems and, prior to that, held executive positions at Getronics, Wang Global and Olivetti, in Australia, U.S.A., Vietnam, Hong Kong and Italy.
He began his career at Olivetti as part of a small task force of developers who produced the first catalogue of system software to turn a personal computer into a networked business workstation. In 1992 he was posted in Hong Kong to manage the Software Services business unit for the Far East Region, and 3 years later he moved to Hanoi to open the Vietnam branch. Olivetti became the first Italian multinational corporation to set up operations in the country. During Angelo’s tenure, his team, in collaboration with their local partner FPT Co, introduced banking automation to the local banking industry and implemented the first branch delivery system for one of the largest government banks. After leading Olivetti Vietnam for 4 years Angelo moved to the USA with Wang Global to head the International Business Development practice for Oceania, and then to Australia in 1999.
With Microelectronic, Angelo introduced to the Australian banking market in 2004 the first polymer-ready teller cash recycler, made in Italy by CTS Cashpro (now ARCA).
In 2001 Angelo was granted by the President of Italy the honour of Order-of-Merit Cavaliere, the highest-ranking order of knighthood, awarded for merits acquired in the fields of literature, the arts, economy, public service, as well as social, philanthropic and humanitarian activities.
Angelo holds an Electronic Engineering degree, majoring in Computer Science, from the University of Genoa, Italy.
